Workflow

One package. Every version, atomized.

An open-source MAM for IMF — atomized packages, not monolithic masters. Swap a single component instead of re-rendering the whole title: save storage, ship faster, and automate your catalog. Local and offline.

The pipeline
How it works

Five steps, one open pipeline.

From raw elements to a standards-based IMF package — every stage runs on your own machine, on the open @openimf engine.

01

Import your assets

Bring in your picture, audio, subtitles, and docs. OpenIMF keeps every piece separate and labeled — ready to reuse, not buried in one giant file.

02

Package as IMF

Wrap it all into a standards-based IMF package any studio, festival, or platform can ingest — authored right on your own machine, no service required.

03

Manage your library

Every title, version, and component lives in one real library — your single source of truth, instead of a drive full of near-identical exports.

04

Export deliverables as needed

Need a specific deliverable? Pull exactly what a distributor or platform asks for, sized to their spec — without re-rendering the whole film.

05

Update with patches

A fix or a new language version? Update just the piece that changed, re-check it against the master, and ship — no full re-master, no wasted storage.
